I mostly agreed with the Libertarians at 84%. The issue agreement with the opposite political party that surprised me the most was that I agreed with the republican party on the issue of abortion. The disagreement between me and the republican party that surprised me most was our stances on education. The two top candidates I agreed with were Barack Obama and Jill Stein. My match with Rocky Anderson was 53% and my match with Jill Stein was 45%. I wasn't surprised because they're both moderately liberal, as am I. I agree more with Jill Stein on social issues, but more with Obama on economic which is weird because usually I disagree largely with Democrats on economics. On the PEW Political Party Quiz I placed as a liberal democrat at nearly a 100%, socially and economically. In comparison to my age group people are usually left-leaning, but i was far gone to the left. When considering my gender, most men are republicans where as women tend to be democrats so I differed from the norm. My race was different too as most Hispanics are left leaning and blacks tend to be more moderately democratic and I was far past "left-leaning" as well as far past moderate democrat. Then when it comes to religion I was where I should be because unaffiliated people tend to be much more liberal according to PEW and I don't affiliate myself with any religion. These results aren't shocking at all and I expected them because my mom is a democrat, so through socialization in the family unit it was highly likely that her ideas would rub off on me and I can also expect my siblings to be democratic as well. |
